Demo Aviation was formed in 1987 after the pilot's strike that crippled Australia's aviation industry.

Businesses needed to transport their staff to various parts of the world, so Demo Aviation started with a small Boeing 747-SP, and began chartering business people around the globe: where they needed to be, when they needed to be there.
